Remembering the Life of Joseph Rago
The evening will honor the life and legacy of Joseph Rago, a Pulitzer Prize-winning editorial writer for The Wall Street Journal, who died in 2017 at the age of 34. In memory of Joe, TFAS and the Rago family established the Fellowship, providing a nine-month internship with The Wall Street Journal’s editorial team.
The 2021 Fellow will be announced later this year.
Presenting the 2021 Novak Fellowship Awards
TFAS will also present the 2021 Robert Novak Journalism Fellowship Awards to outstanding young reporters. By providing essential funding and an extensive network of alumni, Novak Fellowships give promising journalists the resources to undertake career-building and impactful projects.
The Fellowships are named in honor of Robert D. Novak, longtime columnist, CNN broadcaster and reporter for the Associated Press and The Wall Street Journal. Since its founding, the program has funded more than 140 journalists.
Thank you to the following individuals and organizations for serving as sponsors of the evening. Your support enables us to reach the next generation of top-notch journalists. See dinner sponsor opportunities at TFAS.org/JDinner2020Sponsor or by downloading the flyer here.
