Celebrate 50 Years of TFAS in Prague on Nov. 15! TFAS Director of European Institutes Matthew Kwasiborski is hosting a reception at Vinohradský pivovar to connect TFAS alumni and friends in celebration of TFAS’s 50th birthday.
On Feb. 6, 2017, The Fund for American Studies (TFAS) turned 50 years old thanks to the support and dedication of countless TFAS alumni, donors and friends. Alumni who attend this Prague event will be entered into a drawing to win free registration to the 2018 TFAS Leadership Conference in New Orleans on Sept. 21-22, 2018.
Held just two days before the 27th anniversary of the Velvet Revolution, our Prague birthday party event will also serve as a kick-off event for upcoming alumni activities in 2018 – another significant year for TFAS and the Czech Republic. In 2018, TFAS will celebrate our 25th year of teaching leadership, liberty and freedom internationally through TFAS International Programs, and commemorate the 100th anniversary of Czechoslovakia and the 28th anniversary of the Velvet Divorce.
We hope you will stay connected and join us as we explore these historical events and celebrate the ideas of freedom and prosperity. We look forward to seeing you in Prague!
