Meet TFAS students during the January 2018 Institute for Leadership in the Americas (ILA) in beautiful Santiago, Chile. Join the students on a tour of University of the Andes, Chile and learn more about this historic city in the foothills of the Andes mountains.

Explore Valparaiso and its famous vineyards. Then, fly to Patagonia to experience some of the world’s great natural beauties. Visit the Milodon Cave and shores of Grey Lake to observe its unique blue icebergs. Enjoy panoramic views of the famous Torres del Paine National Park.

Say farewell to your travel mates or continue on the optional extension to Easter Island (see details below).

Easter Island Extension tour 

Jan. 22-25, 2018 – $2,950 per person
20 passenger minimum needed to operate

Experience the history and legends of Easter Island, a Chilean island in the southeastern Pacific Ocean. Throughout the journey immerse yourself in the history of the Rapa Nui people and see the magnificent ruins from their vibrant culture. Visit Anakena Beach, Ahu Te Pito Kura altar and Rano Raraku volcano. Explore the Moai Era at various archaeological sites that reveal the connection between the islands and universe.
