TFAS supporters, friends and local alumni are invited to join us for a luncheon and lecture featuring Dr. Roger Butters at Washington University on June 14, 2022.

As an accomplished economist and Hillsdale College associate professor, Butters will share his insight on the power of economic freedom as a solution to societal problems.

Prior to the luncheon, guests are invited to attend a special economics lesson with high school students in the classroom at 10:30 a.m.

Per Washington University guidelines, all visitors must be fully vaccinated (2 doses). Boosters are recommended but not required. Exemptions are only available for medical or religious reasons. Those with a medical or religious exemption must provide a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours of arriving on campus or a negative antigen test taken within 24 hours of arriving on campus – proof of either can be submitted to Jane Mack (jmack@TFAS.org). About Dr. Roger Butters

Roger Butters is an associate professor at Hillsdale College. He has taught in both the public and private sectors. His qualifications include a background in financial markets and international trade, traditional classroom teaching and extensive experience in online teaching and coursework development. Dr. Butters has been invited to teach seminars on economics and international finance at universities around the United States, Europe and China. His primary research interests are in the fields of economic education, international finance and growth.
