Help Us Combat Economic Ignorance!
Every day, the headlines remind us of a troubling trend: countless young people lack a fundamental understanding of economics. They don’t grasp why socialism fails or even the basics of supply and demand. This gap in knowledge leaves them vulnerable to enticing but misguided ideologies.
At The Fund for American Studies (TFAS), we believe that fighting this ignorance begins in the classroom. Our program equips high school teachers with the tools to teach sound economic principles, impacting over 150,000 students annually. This Veterans Day weekend, we’re ready to train 25 passionate educators to spread the message of limited government, fiscal responsibility, and the power of free enterprise.
However, we have 15 eager teachers who want to join us but lack funding. Each of these educators will reach 120 students every year, meaning we can impact an additional 1,800 high schoolers by supporting them.
