The Fund for American Studies (TFAS) is searching for an international programs associate that will focus on coordinating marketing and admissions for TFAS International and Continuing Education Programs as well as other tasks. This person will work with and report to the Director of International Programs. This position is based in Washington, D.C. and will require some domestic and international travel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruitment
    • Maintain, edit and update our TFASinternational.org website, following brand standards and ensuring consistency across the site
    • Manage student admissions and enrollment CRM (Radius by Campus Management)
    • Coordinate with internal department and communications team on program recruitment and marketing efforts
    • Coordinate email and social media marketing campaign through Hootsuite
    • Organize annual student and faculty outreach calendar
    • Help in researching and contacting potential recruitment partners, including colleges and universities, as well as student organizations
    • Attend student and staff recruitment events and conferences as needed|
  • Admissions + Program Operations
    • Answer general questions and inquiries pertaining to the application processes for all programs
    • Assist with interviews of applicants for admission as needed
    • Assist with coordination of TFAS International Programs as needed
    • Assist with general administration, planning and evaluation of programs
    • Assist Director of International Programs with scheduling and organizing student events

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree
  • 1 to 3 years’ experience in higher education, marketing, international affairs or other related fields (internships may be considered experience)
  • Strong communication, organizational and office skills
  • Experience with CRMs, familiarity with Radius by Campus Management a plus
  • Experience using Hootsuite, and other social media dashboards in a professional setting
  • Experience or familiarity with Canva and Adobe Creative Suite applications, such as InDesign and Photoshop, a plus
  • Experience with web content management systems, such as WordPress
  • An interest in international student programming with an emphasis on free-market education
  • Experience studying or working abroad a plus
  • A willingness to work in a team environment and independently

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign and Photoshop
  • Experience with WordPress or other content management systems
  • Familiarity or experience with HTML and CSS
  • Experience with MailChimp or other email marketing services
  • Video production and editing experience in Premier Pro
