About the Role
The Operations, Outreach Design + Special Programs Manager will focus on coordinating a variety of communication strategies and operations plans for student programs. Duties will include designing marketing campaigns and communication to students and faculty. This position will play a lead role in an upcoming brand refresh and website redesign. Special event projects will include event production and planning for student programs and seminars. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented and collaborative, with strong marketing and communication skills.
This person is a part of the TFAS Collegiate Programs + Alumni Engagement team and will report to the Senior Director of Outreach, Engagement + Operations. This position is based in-person, in Washington, D.C., and will require some domestic travel.
Responsibilities
- Develop marketing content and outreach campaigns for student programs
- Help to plan and implement website and brand redesign
- Create content for @DCinternships.org social media platforms
- Design customized collateral material and advertisements for recruitment events, conferences, and other events
- Manage CRM projects
- Design communication and microsite for enrolled students
- Coordinate event production for virtual and in-person events
- Facilitate student programming at Annual Conference
- Oversee alumni recruitment program
- Plan student program events, seminars and conferences as needed
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
- A bachelor’s degree
- 3 to 5 years of experience in higher education, marketing, communications or other related fields (internships may be considered experience)
- Strong communication, design, organizational and office skills
- An interest in student programming with an emphasis on free-market education
- A willingness to work in a team environment and independently

Compensation
This is a full-time, permanent position. The projected salary range for this role is $45-65k, contingent upon the specific skills and experience of the selected candidate.
