Alumni Lend A Hand To Help Recruitment Efforts

//////////////////////

Watch alumni testimonials on the “Alumni Stories” section of the DC Internships As Real As It Gets website.

Here at TFAS we’re busy gearing up for summer 2013 and working to recruit top students from all over the country. This year, along with the new recruitment website at www.DCinternships.org, we launched a new site to show potential students all that DC has to offer. The site, developed by alumnus Anthony Shop (ICPES 03)’s company Social Driver, features video testimonials by a handful of alumni. A special thanks goes out to Roy Abdo (IIPES 06, CSS 07)Betsy Bryant (IBGA 05), Jessica Ching (B 10)Kerri DiNarda (IPJ 06)Cecily Hastings (ICPES 05)Emily Hampsten (CSF 11)Davor Kunc (AIPES 02, IIPES 04, ICPES 05)Cori Meyer (IPVS 06)Molly Muilenburg (IPJ 07)Charise Pastor (IBGA 01, LSI 11)Leah Shirley (CSF 11) and Loren Streit (IBGA 05) for their participation in the videos. To checkout your former classmates and fellow alumni in their video debuts, visit www.DCinternships.org/AsRealAsItGets.

Didn’t get a chance to participate in the videos? Don’t worry. You can still help. As the March 7 final deadline approaches for the 2013 summer programs, we’re still looking for more alumni to help us bring top student leaders to Washington. If you know any college undergraduates that want to spend their summer living, learning and interning in Washington, please spread the word. Personal recommendations from alumni are very important to the recruitment process.

Here are a few ways that you can help:

We’re always searching for ways to expand our recruitment channels – if there are professors or groups that you want to make sure we’re connecting with, please email Recruitment and Admissions Assistant Jennifer Fantin (ICPES 10) at jfantin@TFAS.org.

AMBASSADOR PROGRAM

If you want to take your involvement to the next level, then become a TFAS Ambassador. As an ambassador you will speak with recently accepted students and answer any questions they have about the program. Please email program staff, at dcprograms@TFAS.org by Feb. 7 if you would like to participate in this year’s program.
