Although his birthday was May 19, TFAS postponed the celebration until July so that all of Teague’s children would be in town to participate. Attendees enjoyed a photo slideshow and heartfelt toasts from those who have known and worked with Randy over the years. Those who could not attend – including TFAS students and friends in Greece, Hong Kong and Prague – sent birthday greetings via a video presentation.

“I want to thank you for being a great leader of this organization, for always pushing us to do more and to do better,” said TFAS President Roger Ream. “May we accomplish much more together in the coming years.”

The evening also raised more than $7,000 for the Teague Scholarship Fund. Chairman Teague has been involved with TFAS since its founding in 1967 and has served on its Board of Trustees for more than 35 years. All four of his children, Cornell Teague (IBGA 99, IIPES 01)Townsend Teague (IBGA 04)Mary Robb Wilson (IPJ 03) and James Teague (AIPE 07, IBGA 08, IIPES 09), are TFAS alumni.
