About the Role

The Program Operations + Outreach Manager will focus on coordinating a variety of communication strategies and operations plans for student programs. Duties will include designing marketing campaigns and communication to students and faculty. Program operations projects will include event production and planning for student programs and seminars. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented and collaborative, with strong marketing and communication skills.

This person is a part of the TFAS Collegiate Programs + Alumni Engagement team and will report to the Senior Director of Outreach, Engagement + Operations. This position is based in-person, in Washington, D.C., and will require some domestic travel.

Responsibilities

Program Operations

  • Design communication, materials and online portal for enrolled students
  • Lead virtual and in-person mentor programs for students and alumni
  • Coordinate event production for student events, including orientation, cultural activities, special receptions and graduation
  • Assist with professional development and training of summer staff and interns
  • Facilitate student programming at Annual Conference in Naples, Florida
  • Create and oversee alumni recruitment program
  • Plan other program events, seminars and conferences as needed

Outreach 

  • Develop marketing content for all undergraduate and law student programs
  • Design customized collateral material and advertisements for recruitment events, conferences, and other events
  • Create graphics for marketing campaigns, social media and wayfinding materials
  • Design and execute email and SMS outreach campaigns
  • Manage website content and design
  • Manage content and calendar for @DCinternships.org social media platforms
  • Manage CRM projects related to student admissions platform
  • Attend student recruitment events, including conferences and campus visits around the country

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in higher education, marketing, communications or other related fields (internships may be considered experience)
  • A bachelor’s degree
  • Strong communication, design, writing and organizational skills
  • An interest in student programming with an emphasis on free-market education
  • A willingness to work in a team environment and independently

Compensation

This is a full-time, permanent position. The projected salary range for this role is $50-70k, contingent upon the specific skills and experience of the selected candidate.
