The TFAS Summer Law Fellowship includes optional housing in the Congressional residential apartment building on Capitol Hill administered by Washington Student Intern Housing (WISH), just a short walk from the Capitol building, the Library of Congress, the Supreme Court, and two Metrorail stations.
These are studio style apartments and no more than two Fellows will be assigned to each apartment.
All units have private kitchens and bathrooms within the unit. The rooms are fully furnished, including kitchen wares. The building has free laundry facilities and 24/7 maintenance available, as well as free Wi-Fi.
Students will be required to wear facial coverings when in common areas of the apartment building. Full guidelines on WISH’s COVID-19 policies.

TFAS staff will hand-match you with a roommate based on compatibility preferences provided in a housing survey completed at the time of enrollment.
Students not comfortable living with a roommate in a historic apartment building setting are highly encouraged to find accommodations elsewhere. Students opting out of TFAS housing will receive a $1,200 housing stipend upon the start of the program.
