Allie Dunbaugh ’20 first encountered The Fund for American Studies (TFAS) when she participated in TFAS Santiago in 2020. Since then, she has had a desire to help other young leaders have similarly enriching experiences.
A Colorado native, Allie graduated summa cum laude in 2020 from the University of Northern Colorado with a bachelor’s degree in communication and international affairs. She was an active member and leader in her university’s club tennis team and the gender-inclusive Phi Sigma Pi National Honor Fraternity. Allie is currently a graduate student in the Elliott School of International Affairs at George Washington University, where she is pursuing a Master of Arts in Latin American and Hemispheric Studies with concentrations in security and migration. She has a passion for traveling and immersing herself in new cultures, especially those found in Latin America, and desires to serve others however she can. Her travels have taken her to five Latin American countries and four European countries, and she has found that the people she has met abroad are always the best part of any adventure.
