Emily Schroen

Program Coordinator for International Affairs and Law Programs


Emily Schroen ’19 serves as the program coordinator for the international affairs and law programs at The Fund for American Studies. She participated in the TFAS D.C. Academic Internship International Affairs program track as a Leadership Scholar in 2019 and returned to TFAS as a summer program coordinator in 2021.

Emily received her bachelor’s degree with a double major in international relations and psychology and a minor in Spanish from Wheaton College. As part of her education, she studied abroad in Seville, Spain, where she immersed herself in Spanish culture and tutored local students in English. Emily is interested in studying how psychological mechanisms influence political behavior and plans to pursue a graduate degree in international political psychology.

Prior to TFAS, Emily worked as a research assistant and patient care technician for a residential mental health care facility in San Diego, California. In her current role, she enjoys helping students excel and develop their career aspirations and leadership potential.
