Kate Generelli is the student program manager with the Foundation for Teaching Economics, which is a joint program with The Fund for American Studies. Originally from New Jersey, Kate currently lives and works in Washington, D.C. She first moved to the DC area to serve with the AmeriCorps, where she taught reading in low-income schools. Kate is passionate about education and received her B.A. in sociology from the University of Mary Washington. In her free time, she can be found running or hiking in the outdoors.
