Matching Funds Goal Met

//////////////////////

TFAS Alumni have risen to the occasion and met the $65,000 challenge grant pledged by TFAS Regent Lyn Rales in 2009. Alumni contributions were matched dollar for dollar by Ms. Rales, doubling the impact of these gifts.

Dozens of alumni contributed $350 or more to become member of the “Bricks and Mortar Club.” They will have their names inscribed on bricks at the front entrance of the new TFAS Center for Teaching Freedom. Contributors of $1,000 or more will be recognized with a larger brick paver.

Support of the Alumni Scholarship Fund helps TFAS to retain and recruit exceptional faculty, expand our scholarship pool, create innovative new programs for students and alumni, and maintain state-of-the-art facilities for teaching, learning and student life.

The bricks will be installed this spring and will be unveiled at a ceremony and reception on April 16, 2010. For more information, contact  alumni@TFAS.org.
