Teaching Freedom Since 1967

//////////////////////

The Fund for American Studies (TFAS) is an educational nonprofit that is changing the world by developing leaders for a free society. Our transformational programs teach the principles of limited government, free-market economics and honorable leadership to students and young professionals in America and around the world.

Since 1967, nearly 17,000 students, representing 144 countries, have attended a TFAS summer- or semester-length program. In addition to our core institutes, TFAS reached more than 10,000 young people in 2017 through educational videos, fellowships and seminars. TFAS programs inspire these future leaders to make a difference in their communities and throughout the world by upholding the values essential to the preservation and success of a free society.
