Alumni Recruitment Contest Winner, Round II

//////////////////////

Congratulations to Przemyslaw Pietraszek (A 08) of Poland, the winner of the second part of the 2009 Alumni Recruitment Competition!

Przemyslaw recruited five students and was awarded $200 for his recruitment efforts.

Przemyslaw, who studies international relations at the University of Warsaw, says he encourages his friends to apply to AIPES because of the great job TFAS does of organizing successful programs.

“It is quite incredible how strong the memory of Prague is among all participants and how we have all immensely benefited from taking part in the program,” said Przemyslaw.

Przemyslaw added that the knowledge gained from AIPES and other TFAS international programs is difficult to find elsewhere and that the benefits of AIPES extend beyond the classroom.

“It would be hard to find another program with such a large number of exceptional people, all with different backgrounds and origins.”

Additionally, Przemyslaw notes that the TFAS experience does not end upon graduation. Alumni belong to a large network of people scattered all over the world. Because of this, he encourages others to apply so that they can “experience an amazing three weeks in Prague, listen to thought-provoking lectures, make wonderful friendships and spend possibly the best summer of their lives.”

Thank you once again to Przemyslaw and to everyone who participated in the 2009 Alumni Recruitment Competition – including Oana-Antonia Colibasanu (I 03, EMJI 07)of Romania, Kadri Laar (A 06) of Estonia, and Irene Ndikumwenayo (I 07) of Rwanda who each recruited 3 students. In total, alumni helped TFAS recruit over 250 applicants.
