MONDAY, JAN. 22, 2018
Your adventure begins with a transfer to the airport for your flight to Easter Island. After checking into the hotel, we will visit the town of Hanga Roa and the site of Ahu Tahai to see the statues at sunset. Dinner will be at a local restaurant (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner included)
TUESDAY, JAN. 23, 2018
A full day of touring will include the statues of Ahu Vinapu and Ahu Akivi; the quarry of Puna Pau, the crater of Rano Kau and its beautiful lake. We will also have the opportunity to visit the ceremonial village of Orango as well as the Ana Kai Tangata cave with its petroglyphs. Dinner will include a show with Polynesian music and dance. (Breakfast, Picnic Lunch, Dinner included)
WEDNESDAY, JAN. 24, 2018
Today we will visit the main sites of the island including, Anakena beach, the only beach with a statue; the famous magnetic stone of Te Pito Kura; the place where the statues were sculpted, Rano Raraku; and the most iconic site on the island, Ahu Tongariki, where we will see 15 of the famous statues. (Breakfast, Picnic Lunch, Dinner included)
THURSDAY, JAN. 25, 2018
For the early risers, we will have the opportunity of viewing the sunrise over Ahu Tongariki. We will take an afternoon flight back to Santiago followed by a farewell dinner. (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner included)
FRIDAY, JAN. 26, 2018
You will have your morning free, provided your flight home leaves in the early evening. Before being dropped off at the airport, tour a high-quality alpaca ranch where you will see the animals, the workshop and its final products. (Breakfast included)
