Brett Haglin

Director of Online Programs + Curriculum

//////////////////////

Brett Haglin has been an online economics instructor for the Foundation for Teaching Economics since 2007 and became the director of online programs and curriculum in 2018.

Brett is also in his twenty-third year of teaching high school economics and A.P. economics in Gilbert, Arizona. He feels fortunate to have the opportunity to help high school teachers and students discover the wonder of free market economics.

The path to teaching economics has been somewhat circuitous for Brett, as he originally earned degrees in saxophone performance from Arizona State University and Northwestern University. He has performed with numerous local Arizona musical acts and is still performing today.

Brett lives in Tempe, Arizona, with his wife Susan, who is also a high school economics teacher.
