TFAS supporters, friends and local alumni are invited to join TFAS for a dinner featuring Dr. Anne Bradley, TFAS Vice President of Academic Affairs and Dr. Rachel Ferguson, of Concordia University Chicago, at The Pfister Hotel on Thursday, Oct. 5, 2023. Dr. Bradley will discuss why we live in “The Best of Times or the Worst of Times” and Dr. Ferguson will discuss “Freedom and Liberation through the Marketplace.” TFAS President Roger Ream will join the scholars as a discussion moderator and will make brief remarks about several new exciting initiatives at TFAS.

Dr. Anne Bradley
Dr. Bradley is the George and Sally Mayer Fellow for Economic Education at The Fund for American Studies. She is also Professor of Economics at the Institute of World Politics and an Acton Affiliate scholar. She is the co-editor and author of “Counting the Cost: Christian Perspectives on Capitalism,” “For the Least of These: A Biblical Answer to Poverty” and “Be Fruitful and Multiply: Why Economics is Necessary for Making God-Pleasing Decisions.”
Dr. Rachel Ferguson
Dr. Ferguson is the Director of the Free Enterprise Center at Concordia University Chicago, Assistant Dean of the College of Business, and Professor of Business Ethics. She is also an affiliate scholar of the Acton Institute and co-author of “Black Liberation Through the Marketplace: Hope, Heartbreak, and the Promise of America.”
