TFAS supporters, friends and local alumni are invited to join us for a dinner featuring Dr. Anne Bradley, TFAS Vice President of Academic Affairs and Dr. Samuel Gregg, TFAS lecturer, at the Wisconsin Club-City Club on Oct. 17, 2022. Dr. Bradley and Dr. Gregg will share how they use real world lessons to teach the benefits of free market economics. TFAS President Roger Ream will join the scholars as a discussion moderator and will make brief remarks about the newest initiatives at TFAS.

About Dr. Anne Bradley
Dr. Bradley is the George and Sally Mayer Fellow for Economic Education at The Fund for American Studies. She is also Professor of Economics at the Institute of World Politics. She is the co-editor and author of “Counting the Cost: Christian Perspectives on Capitalism,” “For the Least of These: A Biblical Answer to Poverty” and “Be Fruitful and Multiply: Why Economics is Necessary for Making God-Pleasing Decisions.” Dr. Bradley’s academic work ranges from income inequality, the intersection of theology and economics, economic freedom to the political economy of terrorism. Her academic research has been published in scholarly journals and edited volumes. She has also worked as an economic analyst for the Central Intelligence Agency’s Office of Terrorism Analysis. Dr. Bradley received her Ph.D. in economics from George Mason University in 2006 during which time she was a James M. Buchanan Scholar. She has also taught economics at Grove City College. She has served as a visiting professor at George Mason University and Charles University in Prague. She is also an Acton Affiliate scholar.
About Dr. Samuel Gregg
Dr. Gregg serves as a distinguished fellow in political economy at the American Institute for Economic Research (AIER), a visiting scholar at The Heritage Foundation, an affiliate scholar at the Acton Institute, a fellow of the Royal Historical Society, a member of the Royal Economic Society, and a contributing editor at Law and Liberty. He has a D.Phil. in moral philosophy and political economy from Oxford University, and an M.A. in political philosophy from the University of Melbourne. He has written and spoken extensively on questions of political economy, economic history, monetary theory and policy, and natural law theory. He is the author of 16 books, including The Next American Economy: Nation, State and Markets in an Uncertain World, which will be published the day of our event. We hope to have copies available.
