Alumni Weekend 2010

//////////////////////

Come back to Washington this June and join TFAS for the annual Alumni Weekend! Relive your days at Georgetown and reunite with old friends and classmates with a boat cruise, barbeque, bar crawl and more!

The weekend kicks off on Friday, June 25 with an alumni boat cruise. TFAS has chartered the Capital Elite yacht to cruise down the Potomac River. Take in the sites of DC’s historic waterfront while enjoying hors d’oeuvres and beverages with fellow alumni.

2010 serves as an anniversary year for three of the Georgetown Institutes: IBGA is celebrating its 20th anniversary, while IPJ will be celebrating its 25th and ICPES its 40th. Alumni from any of the inaugural classes are encouraged to come to the reunion and bring their old classmates. The group with the highest number of attendance from their anniversary year will receive special VIP treatment during the boat cruise.

The weekend continues with the annual student/alumni barbeque on Saturday, June 26 from 4-7 pm. Alumni are invited to network with each other, meet the class of 2010 and enjoy burgers, hot dogs, cold drinks and even some limbo at Georgetown’s Observatory Grounds.

Alumni Weekend will come to an end with a “Stroll Down Memory Lane,” where alumni can fondly remember their days at Georgetown with an informal tour around M street; enjoy three different toasts at three different bars throughout the night.
