The Fund for American Studies (TFAS) and its Center for Excellence in Journalism (CEJ) are thrilled to announce that Gerard Baker, Editor-at-Large of The Wall Street Journal, has been named as TFAS Media Fellow.
Baker, a seasoned journalist with over three decades of experience, will bring his expertise and insights to TFAS as he works to mentor and inspire the next generation of journalists. In his role as Media Fellow, Baker will serve as a keynote speaker at various events across the country, speaking to TFAS supporters, students and journalists. Baker’s speaking engagements will advance a core tenet of the TFAS mission: developing a new generation of journalists that practice objectivity, maintain high ethical standards, and display a solid understanding of free-market economic principles in their work. Baker will continue his role as Editor-at-Large of The Wall Street Journal.

TFAS remains dedicated to nurturing young journalists and supporting campus publications, fostering a more diverse and balanced media ecosystem.
