Jon Perdue, the director of TFAS’s Latin America Programs, was recently awarded with the Global Leadership Award by The Leadership Institute.
Perdue was given this award for his professionalism and impact internationally with the Institute for Leadership in the Americas (ILA), the newest TFAS program.
Taking place in Chile annually, the Institute is a two week academic program that focuses on economics, political theory and the rule of law.
The Global Leadership Award is granted jointly by the Leadership Institute, the Bow Group and the World Congress of Families/Howard Center for Family, Religion and Society.
These organizations work to produce a new generation of public policy leaders unwavering in their commitment to free enterprise, limited government, strong national defense and traditional family and moral values.
Because ILA allows students to study the foundations for Chile’s “economic miracle” and to learn about the political and economic necessities of a free society, Perdue was given this award for his contributions in helping to create this new generation of public policy leaders.
Perdue will accept this award in London on Friday, April 2.
