As a TFAS alumnus, you know the value of the TFAS experience better than anyone. Who better than YOU to help spread the word about TFAS to outstanding students who will benefit from our programs? Help us recruit students for our 2015 programs in D.C., Prague and Hong Kong by following the directions below. (Psst: There may even be a prize in it for you).

U.S. Summer Programs in Washington, D.C.
Priority Application Deadline for Scholarships: Feb. 10, 2015
Final Application Deadline: March 17, 2015

U.S. Programs kicked off a new initiative this year – the TFAS Campus Recruiters program. We enlisted a group of alumni to serve as TFAS representatives on their home campuses. The alumni, representing 18 colleges and universities, were selected because of their enthusiasm for sharing their TFAS experience with peers and commitment to ensuring the participation of students from their college or university in future TFAS programs. The recruiters hail from all over the country – from Lehigh University in Pennsylvania, down to Millsaps College in Mississippi, over to Oklahoma State University and up to the University of Denver in Colorado.

Some of their responsibilities include hosting informational sessions, sharing social media content, passing out brochures and personally encouraging students to apply to a TFAS program.

Kendrick Lewis (IPVS 14), is representing TFAS as a recruiter at Flagler College. “I decided to participate as a TFAS alumni recruiter because I find it both an important and rewarding opportunity to merge my passion for the TFAS experience with the fondness I have for my institution and peers at Flagler College,” said Lewis.

If you would like more information on how you can help recruitment efforts, please contact Mallie Woodfin at mwoodfin@TFAS.org.

Did you have the summer of a lifetime in Hong Kong? Help share that experience with outstanding students and win big in the process! AIPE is offering prizes for alumni who recruit the most students for its 2015 program from July 4 – 25 in Hong Kong. Please see below for contest details:

Prizes

  • $75 Prize for the alumnus who recruits the second most students

How To Qualify

  • Tell other exceptional students about AIPE and encourage them to complete an application
  • On the application, where it asks applicants where they heard of TFAS, ask them to mark “TFAS alum/someone who previously attended a TFAS program” and write in your name and email address (if they don’t do this, we won’t know you recruited them and you won’t get credit for your hard work)

The Rules

  • Only complete applications will be counted
  • The applicant must write your name and email address on their application
  • Whoever recruits the most and second most wins

Tools To Help You Spread The Word
