//////////////////////

On June 7, more than 330 students arrived in Washington D.C. ready to jump into the experience of living, learning and interning in the nation’s capital.

For the next two months, these students will attend upper level classes on economics, journalism, business, politics, international affairs and philanthropy taught by professors from D.C.’s prominent colleges and universities. Students will work at a variety of D.C. institutions to gain substantive professional experience. They will also attend briefings at the U.S. Department of State, the World Bank, Capitol Hill, the Federal Reserve and The National Press Club to name a few. They will also tour famous D.C. sites such as George Washington’s Mount Vernon, the Newseum, the Smithsonian Museums and more. See what the 2014 class is up to in real time, by following the #TFAS hashtag on TwitterFacebook and Instagram.
