Thank You Alumni Volunteers

//////////////////////

Nearly 125 TFAS alumni were involved in helping to make the summer of 2010 memorable for students attending one of the U.S. Institutes.

Alumni played a key role in a number of students’ experiences this summer by offering their professional guidance, career advice and insider tips about living in Washington.

TFAS would like to extend a sincere thank you to the many alumni who shared their personal and professional time and resources over the past two months. Whether it was serving as mentor, internship supervisor or guest speaker, your participation was invaluable to our programs.

Alumni involvement continues this fall with Capital Semester. Roundtable discussions will take place in a few weeks, while alumna Amanda Pope (CSF 08) gave the orientation speech to incoming students in August.

In her speech, Amanda said, “Your capital semester is not just about what you learn in the classroom, it is an opportunity to develop the professional skills that will help you begin to see yourself in a career.” CLICK HERE for Amanda’s full speech.

Thanks again to all alumni volunteers! We tried to include everyone who was involved as an alumni volunteer this summer on this list. Our apologies if we inadvertently missed someone. If so, please let us know so we can update our records!
