ABOUT THE ROLE

The Fund for American Studies (TFAS) is seeking a staff accountant to work with the CFO in all accounting cycle activities, including the monthly closing of the general ledger and accounts payable (Sage Intacct software), bank account reconciliations, cash receipts and disbursements, investments and fixed assets. The position will also assist with budget preparation, financial reporting, government filings and annual financial audits.

This position is D.C.-based with a hybrid work environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

An accounting or business degree and one or more years of experience in nonprofit accounting are preferred.
