The Fund for American Studies (TFAS) and the Foundation for Teaching Economics (FTE) will host a dinner featuring Scott Hodge, president of The Tax Foundation on July 24, 2018. Recognized as one of Washington’s leading experts on tax policy, the federal budget and government spending, Mr. Hodge will lay out the many ways taxes impact our every day lives.

During the dinner, guests will also have the opportunity to meet outstanding high school students attending the FTE Economics for Leaders program at Washington University July 23-29. Economics for Leaders is an intensive, weeklong program that gives high school students an understanding of economics and prepares teachers to be more effective in conveying economic concepts in the classroom.
