Double Your Impact on TFAS Alumni Giving Day: April 30

//////////////////////

On Wednesday, April 30, alumni, students, faculty, staff and friends of The Fund for American Studies (TFAS) will unite for a day of impact: TFAS Alumni Giving Day 2025. Now in its second year, this annual tradition brings the TFAS Alumni Network together to support the programs that have shaped generations of courageous leaders for nearly 60 years.

The Power of Giving

For TFAS alumni, Alumni Giving Day is more than just a fundraising initiative—it’s a celebration of the shared experiences as TFAS students, the values and lessons learned in the TFAS classroom and the strong bonds of the TFAS Alumni Network. By making a gift on April 30, you’re not just supporting TFAS—you’re strengthening a community dedicated to developing courageous leaders.

This year’s campaign features several matches and challenges to help make each dollar go further for TFAS students.

“Giving together shows the strength of our network,” says TFAS Trustee Chris Ullman, who will generously match all alumni donations, dollar-for-dollar, up to $5,000. “Every contribution, no matter the size, has an impact on the lives of TFAS students.”

For first-time donors, this year presents an exciting opportunity. TFAS Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Steve Slattery is offering a dollar-for-dollar match up to $4,000, making this the perfect time to give for the first time and double your impact.

TFAS President Roger Ream ’76 will match all donations from his fellow alumni from the 1970s classes, up to $2,000, and TFAS Trustee Eric Tanneblatt ’87 will match all donations from his fellow alumni from the 1980s classes, also up to $2,000.

Your Gift, Your Impact

Every dollar raised for the TFAS Alumni Giving Day campaign supports TFAS’s mission to develop courageous leaders equipped with the knowledge and skills to advance freedom and free enterprise. Whether you benefited from a summer program in Washington, D.C., a high school program, an international program, or a TFAS-sponsored fellowship, you understand firsthand the power of a TFAS education.
