The Thomas L. Phillips Career Achievement Award honors a leader who has made major contributions to the field of journalism during a long and distinguished career. Recent recipients include Mary Anastasia O’Grady of The Wall Street Journal, Brian Anderson of City Journal, William McGurn of The Wall Street Journal, Brian Lamb of C-SPAN, and Andrew Ferguson of the Atlantic.

Kenneth Y. Tomlinson Award for Outstanding Journalism
The Kenneth Y. Tomlinson Award for Outstanding Journalism recognizes a journalist who has exhibited excellence in reporting and a determination to present the truth, often against tough odds. Recent recipients include John Tierney of City Journal, James Bennet of The Economist, Benjamin Hall of FOX News, Jimmy Lai, imprisoned Hong Kong businessman and politician, and Bret Baier of FOX News Channel.
