Celebrating 50 Years of Teaching Freedom

Join us as we kick-off a yearlong celebration of the past 50 years, and look ahead to sharing the benefits of a free society to the many generations to come!

Teaching Freedom Since 1967

The Fund for American Studies (TFAS) is an educational nonprofit that is changing the world by developing leaders for a free society. Our transformational programs teach the principles of limited government, free-market economics and honorable leadership to students and young professionals in America and around the world.

Since 1967, more than 16,000 students, representing 144 countries, have attended a TFAS summer- or semester-length program. In addition to our core institutes, TFAS reaches more than 60,000 young people annually through educational videos, fellowships and seminars. TFAS programs inspire these future leaders to make a difference in their communities and throughout the world by upholding the values essential to the preservation and success of a free society.

Give the Gift of TFAS

Ensure that tomorrow's leaders learn the foundations of a free society, regardless of their financial situation.
