Daniel Hannan, Lord of Kingsclere, is the TFAS America 250 Visiting Fellow, writer and historian. He is the author of nine books, including two NYT bestsellers: The New Road to Serfdom and Inventing Freedom: How the English-Speaking Peoples made the Modern World.

Lord Hannan served as a Member of the European Parliament from 1999 to 2020, during which time he founded Vote Leave, the organization that campaigned successfully for Brexit in 2016.

He sits as a Conservative member of the House of Lords and serves as the International Secretary of the British Conservative Party.

He is President of the Institute for Free Trade, a Fellow of the Independent Institute, a Visiting Professor at the University of Francisco Marroquín (Guatemala) and a Board member of the University of the Hesperides (Spain).

He contributes regularly to Reason Magazine and the National Review, and has weekly columns in the Washington Examiner and the Daily Telegraph.

Dr. Anne Rathbone Bradley is the George and Sally Mayer Fellow for Economic Education and vice president of academic affairs at The Fund for American Studies. Through this position, Dr. Bradley works to enhance the impact and reach of TFAS and FTE economic education programs through courses, seminars, videos and social media. She also delivers lectures around the country and oversees curriculum development and evaluation for economics courses. In addition to her role as a fellow and vice president of academic affairs, Dr. Bradley continues to teach impactful economics courses to TFAS students and consistently receives outstanding marks in students’ post-program evaluations.

Previously, Dr. Bradley served as the vice president of economic initiatives at the Institute for Faith, Work & Economics, where she continues to research a systematic biblical theology of economic freedom. In addition to her work with TFAS, she is a professor of economics at The Institute for World Politics and Grove City College. She is a visiting professor at George Mason University and has previously taught at Georgetown University and Charles University in Prague. She is currently an Acton Affiliate scholar and a visiting scholar at the Bernard Center for Women, Politics & Public Policy. She is a lecturer for the Institute for Humane Studies and the Foundation for Economic Education.

Dr. Bradley is the co-editor and author of “Counting the Cost: Christian Perspectives on Capitalism,” “For the Least of These: A Biblical Answer to Poverty,” and “Be Fruitful and Multiply: Why Economics is Necessary for Making God-Pleasing Decisions.”

She served as the associate director for the Program in Economics, Politics and the Law at the James M. Buchanan Center at George Mason University. Dr. Bradley’s academic work ranges on the question of income inequality and economic freedom as well as the political economy of terrorism, with specific emphasis on the industrial organization of al-Qaeda. Her academic research has been published in scholarly journals and edited volumes. She is currently working on a book that analyzes the political economy of al-Qaeda post 9/11. Based on her academic research, she also worked as an economic analyst for the Central Intelligence Agency’s Office of Terrorism Analysis.

Dr. Bradley received her Ph.D. in economics from George Mason University in 2006, during which time she was a James M. Buchanan Scholar.

Ken Khachigian served as Chief Speechwriter, trusted political adviser, and favorite scribe to Ronald Reagan and “go-to” counsel for the president in campaigns and political crisis. He scripted many of Reagan’s most prominent addresses beginning with the first inaugural and for what is viewed as the “greatest speech of his presidency” at Bergen Belsen. He served in Richard Nixon’s White House and alongside Nixon as he emerged from Watergate, assisted with Nixon’s memoirs and led preparation for the history-making interviews with David Frost. As a successful attorney, he also gained respect as California’s premier Republican strategist in elections for governor, senator, and attorney general. Time magazine called Khachigian Reagan’s “word wizard.” The San Francisco Chronicle called Khachigian “the ‘lion’ of California politics,” and legendary political commentator Bob Novak labeled Ken “perhaps the state’s premier Republican strategist and wordsmith.”

He received his law degree from Columbia University and received the Distinguished Alumni Award from U.C. Santa Barbara as an honors graduate. He is Director Emeritus of the Richard Nixon Foundation, and has received many lifetime achievement awards from Armenian-American organizations where he is listed, along with William Saroyan among 100 Armenians who have changed the world. He is the author of the Pulitzer Prize-nominated memoir, “Behind Closed Doors – In the Room with Reagan and Nixon.”
