The Fund for American Studies (TFAS) and the Office of Senator Rand Paul are set to kick off the 14th annual Capitol Hill Lecture Series on Thursday, June 11. Hundreds of D.C.-based interns, including congressional interns and TFAS students, will convene on Capitol Hill throughout the summer to hear a variety of distinguished speakers discuss the theme, “Courageous Leaders: Challenging the Status Quo.”
Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with the thoughts and ideas of public figures who champion the principles of a free society. Each lecture is followed by a discussion period, during which attendees can ask questions and connect with the speaker.
Since 2012, the series has attracted 1,500 young leaders each year to cultivate an understanding of liberty, free markets and limited government. The series is made possible by the generous support of the Einhorn Family Foundation.
