Public Policy + Economics

//////////////////////

The TFAS D.C. Summer Programs track on Public Policy + Economics brings together campus leaders who are passionate about politics and aspire to work in legislation, research, law or public service. Through a course on “Economic Problems and Public Policies,” these future leaders are introduced to the role of economics in the context of policy-making and learn how to apply the economic thinking and analysis to a variety of public policy issues. During the day, students intern at a variety of federal agencies, think tanks, Congressional offices, policy groups and NGOs.

Through my internship, economics class and special events, TFAS has given me the opportunity to build a future for myself that I never could have dreamed of.” – Daniel O’Neill ’18
